Steve, is it possible to completely get rid of the ladder and soar to the top without the hard work of having to climb? Can we, instead of climbing on a ladder, ascend up in a hot air balloon? I’m talking of the difference between success and significance.
Herman, I think it is possible to soar easily, but then what next? Is it really the end that is important or the journey itself?
What of the difference between success and significance? Are they related? Maybe the media has created too many examples of “significant” folks who are not really successful (but think they are) so that it is coloring the distinction.
