“Make the most of today. Translate your good intentions into actual deeds.”
Grenville Kleiser, 1863-1953, Writer
I recently wrote about performing a random act of kindness, and so this week, I’ve been more conscious of the actual deeds I’ve done, instead of just doing them, sometimes without any intention at all.
I did 2 random acts, 1 by giving a man named “Steve” a $10 Starbucks gift card so he could stay warm and enjoy some coffee on me, and 1 by helping an older gentleman clean his tray off and throw away his garbage at a local restaurant.
While these random acts are small, they made me feel warm inside knowing I made a small difference in someone’s life. I made the most of today, and that’s all I intend to do each day. Some days that may result in me making a larger difference than other days. By striving to make a small difference every day, it could add up to something great.
What are you doing to make the most of today, to turn your good intentions into good deeds?
