This month I’m going to do something a bit out of the ordinary: I’m going to give you 3 options to get involved, 2 of which won’t be here at 100 Bloggers.
First is one of our own, Robert Hruzek sponsoring a really cool contest about one of our past month’s themes, change:
Here’s all you have to do to participate:
1. Write a new post on your blog with a reference to THIS POST (uh, the one you’re reading now). There are no limits to the number of words you can use, so feel free to be as eloquent (or concise) as you like. C’mon, show off if you like!
2. Title your post “What I Learned From __________” (and, um, don’t forget to fill in the blank)
3. Send me an email (rhruzek@sbcglobal.net) containing your name, the title of your post, and the permalink of the post. (I usually see trackbacks, but this will make sure I don’t miss it.)

Second is from the folks at Joyful Jubilant Learning, which some of us at 100 Bloggers are a part of (yours truly included), where you can contribute how learning has made a difference in your life.
Your Invitation:
During the month of September, we invite you to play a very active role in Joyful Jubilant Learning by being a Guest Author, and posting an essay in our JJL Forum 2007.Essay Theme:
Our JJL Forum for 2007 will be MAKE A DIFFERENCE, and what that phrase means to you, the lifelong learner who “lives large.”How has your learning already made a difference, or how do you know it will? What is the difference you are learning to make, and what are you doing to make it happen?
How to Participate:
It’s easy! Just let us know you’d like to be a guest author via email (click to rsvp here), and your TypePad invitation (our blog host) will be on its way to you. Write your MAKE A DIFFERENCE essay, and we’ll publish it for you!

Last but not least is Positive Thinking Day, sponsored by Kirsten Harrell and many other folks (myself included). All the proceeds from the day go to the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation.
This month’s theme is positivity, in any way you want it to be. Here’s a few questions to get you started:
Who’s the most positive person you know?
When you’re feeling down, how do you pick yourself back up?
What are your best strategies for encouraging others to think more positively?
Favorite positive thinking book/website/quote?
Anything else?
Take part in 1 or all of these opportunities, it’s up to you.
