It’s November now, so let’s share what we are thankful for this month. I’ll start us off with 5 people I’m thankful for. Join in as you feel the urge.
- My wife - My wife’s birthday is this month, and I’m thankful that she is willing to put up with my quirks and foibles.
- My family - While no family is perfect, my family also puts up with me living miles away from them, and talking on the phone only once in a while. Yes, we’re all busy, and I know they’ll never read this article, but still, I am thankful for them.
- My Milwaukee friends - Lately I have been taking more time than I usually do for my friends that are close to me in physical proximity. I’m glad for each one of them, who puts up with me talking about blogging, social media, web 2.0, branding, and all other things that I talk about that most of them either don’t get or probably don’t care to talk about. Thanks for listening to me ramble.
- My online publishing friends - To all the folks who write great blogs that I learn so much from, I say thank you, thank you, thank you! There are MANY more of you I learn from each day, and for that, I owe you a debt of gratitude. You inspire me to make it GREAT!
- The folks who read my writing - I write almost every day over at Make It Great!, 3 times per week at Slacker Manager, whenever I feel the urge at Joyful Jubilant Learning and also here at 100 Bloggers. Many of you follow me from place to place, and many more leave comments to encourage me or to correct me and put me on the right path. Thanks a MILLION to all of you!
Now it’s YOUR turn. Who or what are YOU thankful for? Share the link love loud and proud, and let EVERYONE know who or what you appreciate.

I am thankful for you Phil, and for every opportunity you have given me to connect with the wonder that you are! Mahalo nui loa.
Very appropriate for this month. There are lots of things we can all be grateful for. An American Indian proverb says, “If you see no reason for giving thanks, the fault lies in yourself”. I hope to add to the conversation later today.
Phil:
What a HUGE and delightful surprise to find some extraordinary link love here! I’ve received so much love from the blogsphere, it’s incredible. When I saw this blog linking back to me, I was momentarily puzzled, not knowing who performed such an act of extraordinary kindness this morning.
So with a curious wrinkle on my forehead, I trotted across the blogsphere and landed here with a thud. Lo and behold, it’s my blogging buddy Phil! You continue to surprise me cuz I didn’t know you were the writer of this blog!
Well, I’m learning every day. :) And of course, I am GRATEFUL to you as well. In fact, I’m so full of gratitude, it’s uplifting. An attitude of gratitude is incredibly powerful. Once it starts, it continues to snowball with atonishing speed and grace.
Have a Make it GREAT! day.
Stephen

Herman - You have already done a great job of adding to the conversation. Thank you!
Stephen - Glad to share you with the readers here. You should be shouted from the rooftops, for all to see. Keep learning, keep smiling, and keep snowballing!
Terry - You are welcome my friend. So glad you are in my orbit! Happy Autumn!
Phil- I like Rosa am thankful for you and your friendship! It’s wonderful to have a friend that is so “GREAT”! :) Thank you for all you do.

Feeling a little gratitude sure can brighten up an otherswise dreary winter day. I can even be grateful for a dreary winter day. It means my husband is home instead of out working. He works really hard. An occasional day off is good for him and me. It gives us time to reconnect. Have a glorious day.
Great question Troy! I’ll ask her next time I talk to her.
Karen - you are VERY welcome! Glad to share.
Patricia - you are absolutely right. Even the dreariest of days are days to be grateful for. Thanks for sharing how you are grateful. It’s a wonderful reminder for all of us.
